Why TradeClone?

Weighing TradeClone against other copiers? The biggest difference is where they run. Cloud copiers run on a remote server. Others run as a separate app on your machine. I built TradeClone to run inside NinjaTrader 8 itself, as an add-on alongside your accounts.

Your followers move the instant you do

A cloud copier adds a network round trip to every trade. A local copier drops the network, but most still sit outside NinjaTrader and reach it through an API, so each order crosses that boundary. TradeClone sits inside NinjaTrader, compiled into the same process as your accounts. From your click it reads the fill from the platform's native order events and submits each follower with a direct call. That's what cuts the time from click to followers. The full breakdown is on the Execution Speed page.

Your accounts stay yours

Cloud copiers need your account logins on their servers to trade for you. TradeClone never sees them. Your accounts connect inside NinjaTrader the same way they would without a copier, and nothing about your trading leaves your machine.

Nothing else to go down mid-session

A cloud copier is a second system that can throttle, break, or hit maintenance while you're in a trade. TradeClone is only as unavailable as NinjaTrader itself. If your platform is up, your copier is up.

One price, however many accounts you run

Most copiers charge in tiers. The more accounts or firm connections you want, the more you pay. TradeClone is one flat licence with unlimited followers, so two accounts or twenty costs the same. With no limits on what you connect, it's one of the cheapest options going. Plans are on the main page.

Every account handled individually

Because it runs inside the platform with your accounts, TradeClone handles each one on its own terms: its own copy mode and ratio, its own instrument tier (NQ leader, MNQ follower), independently mirrored brackets, and daily loss and profit limits. A relay that forwards orders can't reach that level.

The short version: cloud and API copiers put something between you and your accounts. TradeClone removes the middle. It's built into NinjaTrader, in the same process as your accounts, with no network hop, no API layer, and no third party holding your connections. One licence covers every account you connect.

When TradeClone isn't for you

TradeClone only works with accounts you can trade through NinjaTrader 8. If the account you want runs on a different platform, say a ProjectX account like TopstepX that doesn't connect to NinjaTrader, then TradeClone can't copy to it. As long as your accounts run in NT8 (including Tradovate-based prop accounts connected through it), everything above is yours.
